New York
I just got back from New York and finally have time to catch up on the blog!
We took the boys to see Grease on Broadway. It was an incredible experience. We had watched the Grease tryouts on TV, so the boys were anxious to see them in person. We stayed afterwards and got programs signed by the two leads - which was pretty cool.
What was really unusual about the trip was the fact that I didn’t bring my photo gear. All we had were a couple of point-and-shoot cameras. It was fun to just relax and enjoy a vacation - but I can’t remember the last time I travelled anywhere without all my gear. Luckily, I still managed to come away with a few interesting images. I think this one really sums up the feel of Times Square…
I have a few more images that will be posted on the fineart website soon - so keep checking back!
Now I wasn’t the only one snapping pictures on the trip. My creative 7 year old had a camera around his neck as well. Here is one of his masterpieces from Central Park -
Not bad, huh?
Its going to be really embarrassing when people start calling up to book a session and ask for him instead of me.
