Our Last, Last, Last Wedding
As many of you know, I stopped photographing weddings last year to concentrate of portraiture and fine art photography. We did what we thought was our final wedding in late 2006. In 2007, Heather and I were talked out of retirement to do one last wedding.
The family was such a pleasure to work with that we couldn’t resist when the sister of the bride asked us to photograph her wedding in 2008. Heather was out of town, but my trusted protege Sami was there to fill in. We got some really fun images, including this shot outside of the reception.
Since it was after sunset, the area was lit entirely by lamps above and in the fountain - giving the shot a very warm glow. Melanie and Wayne were a pleasure to work with and will certainly leave me with a fond memory of my final wedding!

Hi Larry, we are on our honeymoon but had to check our email at least once (make sure Lauren didn’t have the baby!) The picture is amazing, Wayne and I love it! You and Sami were such a joy to work with. Can’t wait to see the rest. Melanie
