Dancing in the Cold
This weekend, we took a group of kids to McKinney for ballet portraits. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t 100% cooperative, so it was a little cold. Actually, it was really cold! The kids - and moms - were troopers, however, and we came away with some great images.
One of my favorite images from the day was this shot of three girls up on their toes. How they do this, I’ll never know - but it sure made for a great composition. I softened the whole image to give it a more pastel look.

Larry wasn’t kidding about the cold! The kids’ teeth were chattering, they shivered during the shots and they couldn’t feel their toes!!
