Judging
Wisconsin photographer Dan Frievalt sent me these images from the print competition last weekend, so I wanted to add them to the blog. Here is how this works: everyone sits in a dark room and the prints come around one at a time under bright lights. The judges sit at the front of the room and score the prints. There is usually a good crowd of people sitting in the room watching - most of them are the ones who entered the prints into the competition.
Here we are being introduced to the audience.

After that, we sat down and got to judging!

It was really a great weekend. Wisconsin has some very talented photographers!
