This is my son, and I can't begin to tell you what a treasure this is!!! It is proudly hung in his room and we are in awe of it everytime we walk in. The fact that it has my father's handwritting makes it extra special. Also, the details in it are so amazing! I highly recommed having one made for your child. I am sure you will treasure it as much as we do!

Larry - I would title this piece "Portrait of an Icon Number One." It reads as a portrait to me, but I could be projecting your known history as a photographer on to the piece. The bold, red strokes appear to be informed by a Chinese character alphabet, but I have no way to judge that. I wondered if it was a number. My pet peeve is artists putting numbers in the title of their series (it's so dated!), but I would do it here just to be playful with the possible number/character and because it is your first painting series. I hope you make it past five - I get bored!

If I keep writing can I get more chances to offset my Starbucks habit?!?!

Good luck in the series!

Larry,
What a beautiful shot of Minute Maid; even if it was done with a point and shoot. By the way, did I tell you what a great time we had visiting with you and your beautiful family while you were in Houston?

I wanted to stop by and tell you that virtually everyone who comes in the store is blown away by the paintings. One of our most common customer phrases these days is "Oh my God, who did these!"

Wow! What a beautiful picture! Every beloved pet should be captured for all time in a portrait like this. It truly captures the personality of our dog.
