One Day Photography Workshop

Larry Lourcey

Hi and welcome to my blog!I do my best
to keep things updated and give you a look at things happening behind the scenes here at Lourcey Photography. Although I've been a professional photographer for over 20 years, I'm also semi-famous for my pizza and bread making. So follow along and enjoy the adventure. And don't be afraid to leave a comment and say hello!

Big News!

This summer I will be offering something I have never offered before: a one day, hands-on photography workshop. I’ve spoken at photography conventions across the U.S., but never actually done this type of class. If you have been wanting to improve your photography skills – this is your chance!

Who Should Attend?

This workshop will be geared toward Intermediate to Advanced photographers. I’m looking for people who are ready to take their photography to the next level by really learning lighting and posing.

What is Planned?

I will have a complete studio setup and discuss why I set my lights up the way I do. We will have multiple photo shoots and everyone will get a chance to photograph the models with their own cameras. Its a great chance to build up your skills and add a few nice images to your portfolio. You will come away from this workshop with an understanding of how lighting affects photography and how to use it to create stunning images.

When and Where?

The workshop will be Tuesday, July 23rd at the Westwood School’s high school campus on Midway – just south of Beltine- in Addison, Tx. We will start at 8:30 and to til approximately 4:00 – so be prepared to soak up a LOT of information.

For those travelling from out of town, there is a hotel directly across the street.

No Crowds

To make sure everyone gets the most out of this experience, class size will be very limited. I want everyone to have plenty of hands-on time and you just can’t do that with a large crowd. If you want to be a part of this group, sign up today!

How Much?

The cost for the one day workshop is $250. We will offer an early-bird price of $179 for those who sign up by the end of June.

Remember, space is extremely limited so don’t delay. I hope to see you there!
