Hi and welcome to my blog!I do my best
to keep things updated and give you a look at things happening behind the scenes here at Lourcey Photography. Although I've been a professional photographer for over 20 years, I'm also semi-famous for my pizza and bread making. So follow along and enjoy the adventure. And don't be afraid to leave a comment and say hello!

Just returned from a fun weekend in Yakima, Washington where I judged images at PPA’s Western States District Image Competition.

If you’ve never entered photographic competitions, you are missing out on one of the best educational opportunities available. It truly forces you to hone your craft and take your photography skills to the next level.

As a judge, it is also a great learning experience because I’m exposed to so many fantastic images over the course of the weekend.

You can learn more about image competition at PPA Competition Info.
