The ONE Project is a portrait series about the objects that matter most. Each portrait pairs a person with their most treasured possession and the story behind it, revealing the memories, relationships, and experiences that give these objects meaning.

The ONE Project began as a simple question: What would you save?
The answers revealed stories of love, loss, family, sacrifice, and legacy—stories so powerful that WFAA's feature on the project was honored with a Lone Star Emmy Award.
This recognition belongs to the participants who trusted me with their stories and to the WFAA team who shared them with such care and compassion.

The Bicycle
She bought the bicycle for $15 when her son was 4 months old. They used to enjoy long bike rides together and it shaped her son's childhood.
The Sari
Her father brought the sari home to her mother as a gift. Her father passed away in 2005 and the sari has become one of her most prized possessions.
